Financial support and mentorship to filmmakers who embody New York City's independent artistic spirit.
2025 Open for submissions
A $10,000 short film grant — $9,000 for production and $1,000 to cover film festival submissions. Recipients must be residents of New York City, from New York City, or propose a film that prominently features New York City. Screenplays must be under 15 pages. Recipients also receive guidance from the SRCF professional network to help bring their vision to screens around the world.
